I'm NOT a WWE fan, but I am a fan of the director's previous works (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger, and not The Covenant). Here's the real deal: the movie is totally implausible, but in a fun, action-driven, ridiculously over-the-top way. It's a throwback to the 90s era action flick, and Cena is the new Stallone--a muscular, likable dude of few words. Much better option than Haunting in Connecticut, which just bit IMHO. For what it's worth, 12 Rounds was a fun night out. |
