The WGA strikes. 12k membership of "the best screenwriters" available for the elite Writers Guild should mean that we'd deserve the best of the best, write? Oops, I mean, right?
Tell me then, how could a quarter-mile gap be closed in hyperspeed uniforms but those last twenty feet not get covered over the next three minutes of a foot-to-car chase? Tell me how in the earthly world would any brilliant mind determine blowing up stratigically placed surface explosives on the polar ice cap would cause the "ice to sink" and destroy everything in its path leagues beneath the sea?
Let's see this stuff on U-Tube and not when paying $11 for a high-budget, 21st century feature. |
