I have just seen The Life Before Her Eyes and decided to read all critics and reviews to see whether I would get a clue of what I just saw. One of the things I found very strange in the movie was the fact that Diana's husband was exactly the same when she met him as a young student as when she evolved into the wife 15 years later. That fact for me, together with some pointers given by other user critics, (e.g. the song: "She's not there") made me come to the conclusion that the mature Diane was indeed someone who didn't exist.
Also I didn't see Maureen jumping from the bathroom window as one of the reviewers here mentioned. I definitely have to see this movie again. |
