I only made it through an hour of this horrendously unfunny movie before I walked out. The "jokes" were forced and the entire film seemed to pieced together by a child. There was no acting to speak of, but just Jack Black and Michael Cera walking around in pelts but essentially just being themselves. The most painful thing for me was watching someone as comically brilliant as David Cross be reduced to such schlock. After his superior performances on "Arrested Development" and "Mr. Show", I literally wanted to weep while watching him stumble through such dated material. When even someone like Cross can't be funny, something is very wrong. Do not waste your time or money on this one. It had absolutely no redeeming qualities except the fact that somehow they managed to dupe a largely talented group of people into appearing in this monstrosity. |
