You have to live up north to understand the movie. Reading the critics reviews I was a little hesitant to go see it because it got such bad reviews. After seeing the movie for myself tonight I completely understand why someone in New York or Chicago would think it was the most horrible movie they've seen. You have to live here to understand it. I'm from Northwest Wisconsin but I'm not far from Minnesota and we are very much alike. Both my husband and I thought the movie was hilarious... along with the rest of the theater (which was packed). I disagree with one of the critic reviews which said that the movie is basically making fun of us northerners and making us look like idiots. She obviously isn't from around these parts..because the theater I was sitting in,in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin WAS ABSOLUTELY ROARING. |
