Sci Fi Channel's "100 Million B(movies)C"
by Seph (movies profile) Jun 25, 2008
I LOVE Science Fiction & Fantasy stories and movies, and I'm a huge fan of the Sci Fi Channel, as well as the Discovery Network's Science Channel. In my opinion, the best science fiction is based on science fact and/or widely accepted theories.

Sci Fi Channel has always been renowned/infamous for its regular programming of classic sci fi, some excellent sci fi series and made for television mini-series movies, and frequently broadcasting typical "B" movies. I've never researched the etymlogy of the term "B Movie," but I have to assume the word "bad" fits in there somewhere!

The 2008 version of "100 Million BC" is a new-classic "B" movie, complete with bad acting, bad special effects, bad plot twists, and other such bad but cheesy things that we sci fi fanatics have come to love in our "B" movies. OH - and let's not forget that Sci Fi ALWAYS comes through in its "new classic B movies" with at least one super-hot babe for our eye candy pleasure. And there are usually more than one, but "100 Million BC" has two, one of which is extremely adorably. I tend to prefer tall women, but this one vertically challenged brown-eyed brunette bombshell is to die for! I must confess that I thoroughly enjoyed rewinding, pausing, and playing in slow-motion this buxom beauty in cave woman mini-leathers running (and bouncing gracefully) through the streets of LA. In one scene, when she first came back to the future (left as part of a science team in the 1950s to go to the past, and later returned to present day LA), she fell on the floor and lay on her back staring into the time machine for several minutes. Staring at her in her tight clothing with those gorgeous eyes, flowing hair, and firm, round, delicious Ds (or more) is well worth the time put into watching this movie.

Then again, I'm easily entertained, especially when that entertainment involves hot chicks in skimpy, tight clothes running from poorly animated dinosaurs. Long live the "B" movie!
