I'll start off by saying I am not the biggest fan of the Saw franchise, however, as an overall fan of movies, I have been able to appreciate the storylines and twists.
Saw V was predictable and unneccessary. The acting was awful! What was with Strahm talking to himself in every scene!? I understand they needed us to know what he was thinking, but a good movie would have done that without him just talking to himself! Oh, and did anyone NOT notice the boom mic that kept appearing in different shots!?
Overall, I feel they made Saw V just for the sake of making a fifth installment. There was no new information, no "aha" moment, no need for the movie at all...
of course, that is just my opinion. |
