I wanted a good story and real drama, and this movie delivered. The costuming was outstanding, as was the set design, with great attention paid to the details of the manners of the royals. The direction was good, and though I did not know the story of the Duchess of Devonshire to fall back on, the story kept my interest. The movie is a personal portrait - you feel your inside of her. Really liked it. |
