This film tells the compelling story of a fascinating man, focusing on the great artistic triumph of his life. The achievement of this film is that its makers surrender themselves to the subject matter, to the personality and passion of the "man on wire." I am sure there is a great deal of art, passion, and technique that went into this film; the great thing about it, however, is that it in no way calls attention to itself. Stop reading about this film. See it! |
