This film is like its story it is a great feat

This is probably one of the most exciting Documentaries ever made if not the most exciting. The life story of Philippe Petit is really amazing and down right inspiring. I wish I had half the guts he has had throughout his life. The film does not really even seem like a documentary because of its subject. Philippe is fearless in his extremely difficult and dangerous acrobatics he performs. The film does a very good job of building up to the finally. It helps you build a relationship with the characters and learn more and more about them throughout the film. By the time the movie reaches its peak the you will feel as if you knew Philippe for many years. The finally really is breathe taking with Philippe crossing a tight rope from one World Trade Center to the other. The camera angles used in this scene are ridiculously well done and very clear. I am amazed how these shots were captured. It really is no wonder why this film won best documentary this year at the Golden Globes and The Oscars. This film is like its story it is a great feat. |
