I loved the original version, so I was worried about what I'd see. As I read other reviews, I became a little confused, because many of the reasons others hated this movie are reasons I liked it. Some hated the way this movie uses so much from other old movies. I loved that. I'd see some idea used in Starman or an old Twilight Zone and think how great it is to use it. Fans of the original version will have lots of fun seeing how that story was used in interesting new ways, especially the ending. I LOVED the ending! We could have long discussions about what happens next. My guess is it wouldn't be pretty. I haven't had this much fun in a long time. |
