I was pleasantly surprised by how good and endearing this film was. It was by far the best documentary I have seen in years, and I think that's because it didn't feel like a documentary at all. It really felt like I was fully engulfed into the lives of these kids, with all their troubles, pain, loss, joy, fear, pressure, and love. It brought me back to high school, reminding me of the things I loved and hated about it. It felt like you were watching a feature film instead of a doc, while giving it a heightened feeling of emotion since these were in fact REAL people. I highly recommend this film to kids, post adolescents, and adults alike. |
