Most of us are aware that national debt is an issue, but I don't think the majority of people know how large of an issue truly is. This film really puts that into perspective. One of the most powerful visuals it gives is the ratio of debt to GDP. A historical review of this shows times in history where it has been worse, but there were action plans in place, and it was quickly recovered from. There are no such plans in place... and if no action is taken the budget deficit on a YEARLY basis will soon exceed 1 trillion dollars. This contains interviews with members of the Wake Up America tour, as well as several congressional and coalition leaders, as well as Greenspan. I would highly recommend this to anyone. It sheds a light on the reforms that are needed and the direction in which we are heading, and it is a blinding light. |
