When I was a teenager and used to collect Comics, one of my favorites was Mr. Punisher and after viewing this film I am glad to see that the no-nonsense, no mercy persona that I used to read in the comics was finally translated to the big screen.
Now I have to say the gore factor in this movie was pretty much "on par with the Last Rambo movie. But that for me kinda made the movie. It felt a lot more intense. Believe me there were some scenes that made the whole theater say "Ohh!!"
All in all I had a lot of fun with the movie, it's not Dark Knight Quality and the acting and story aren't Oscar worthy. But its fun. especially if you used to read the comics. |
