I am a huge Martial Arts fan, and a huge Dragon Ball Dragon Ball Z fan. The one thing the attracted me to Dragon Ball in the first place was it was all about Martial arts (Before DBZ and the energy attacks). Dragon Ball is a Martial Arts story, if your gonna make a Martial Arts movie at least get some real Martial Artist. The fights were so mediocr. For some reason Hollywood thinks that CGI can replace actual Martial Arts skill. Im sorry it doesn't, people can tell if the Martial Art Choreagraphy is bad or if the actors only rehearsed for two weeks.
Alot of times I wondered if they were really acting or reading from Cue cards, I guess they couldn't find good actors for this movie. Or was it the script was so bad that it made bad actors worse.
I don't know who wrote this script but maybe they should have given it a different Name other than Dragon Ball. Maybe Not another EMO Teen Movie in High School trying to get a girl out of his league. I hate Teen Angs movies, they are so corny. I guess they decided to fuse Goku and Krillin. But this was not dragon Ball, the story, I don't know what this Garbage was.
I thought all Comic book movie in todays society got more respect than what this movie received by Fox. I guess Japanese Comic, have to earn Hollywoods respect kinda Like American Comics had to earn ther respect with Blade and Spiderman.
Because Dragon ball received no respect, it got skull dragged ram roded, totally anally raped, and murdered by Fox and Hollywood.
Dragon Ball may you rest in Peace, Hopefully they will give the live action Akira movie a reach around before they murder it. |
