The dogs are cute, but the police are the bad guys, the animal shelter and everyone who works there are bad guys, animal control is pure evil, and the foster parents (as well as every single mention of foster parents in general) are straight from hell. The kids thought it was funny, buy I pray they didn't subliminally store away the writer's and director's disrespect for every single authority figure portrayed in the movie. Would have been much more enjoyable with "normal" kids and a "normal" family that more kids could identify with. |
