There are spots in this murky movie that are pretty good. Helen Miren is a bright spot. Russell Crowe channels Dustin Hoffman from "All the President's Men" pretty well. The whole plot is sort of a cross between that and "The Pelican Brief" but not as scary or well written. The wrap up is kind of anti climactic and murky. |
