My five year old daughter and I watch HM every day on Disney Channel. When the concert came through, there was no way I was going to be able to afford to take her. She took me telling her no so well, that when I heard about this movie I just knew I had to take her. Yes, I had to drive an hour to get there and an hour to get back and I paid $32.00 for tickets and $12 for a coke and a popcorn and yes, that can be pretty expensive, but she had the best time. We went during the Superbowl, and there were only like 3 other families in the theatre, which made it even better. My daughter danced and sang and tried to touch Miley. At one point she even cried a little because she was SO happy. I figured I would be bored out of my mind, even though I do like HM show, but I was toe tapping and swaying to the music.
By the way, I read some of the other reviews, and I am shocked that people would call Miley a slut. First off, she does not dress slutty at all, she wears shirts that cover her mid drift, shows no cleavage and her skirt came to her knees. She had on tights for goodness sake! And the dance number that they are alking about, where she lifts her skirt, she has on bike shorts under it. Second of all, she is a CHILD people, woulkd you like it if some one called your daughter a slut? She does no deserve that sort of defamation.
Although I am my daughters first role model, I believe that HM is wholesome and good glitzy fun. Any girly girl out there would have the TIME of her life. |
