This film was Awesome, one of Spike's best, a multi-leveled tale of hope, faith, and mysical events, happenings that are beyond explanation. My father and uncle fought in ww2 and they shared with me how racist it was, how down right dangerous it could be with one's own fellow americans, thanks Spike for bringing my father's experience to the screen. It was great to finally see the history of the African American Warriors as true Patriot's who fought for their country despite racism and prejudice. The acting was great, a story well told with many different path's coming together in the end, thanks Spike keep up the great work!! |
