Most of us had a life before we saw the movie. Like
the young man I have had many experiences that at
the time seemed like a great idea. The Reader showed
us their is no going back. Our lives affect others
forever. There has been a spate of Movies that seemed to try to Apologize for German stupidity in
following leaders. Sadly the USA has also followed
leaders that were less than honorable. The young man
could not at his level of emotion bring himself to
sacrifice his self for the accused guard. How many
of us would do it differently, not many. It is Human
truth that is why it moved me. |
