I have watched the Reviews for this movie for some time and have seen alot of people Bashing it, and saying Terrible Things about it, while at the same time I have seen ALOT of people saying some Wonderful Things about it. I had seen some of the Clips on YouTube and had decided I HAD to SEE it. I Attempted to go see it at a theater where I live in Dallas, Texas and Arrived a Day Late for seeing it. The Reason you ask. It was only in Dallas for 8 DAYS. I was going to see it with a friend of mine and she drove over from Fort Worth to see it with me. We arrived to Purchase our Tickets and were told that it wasn't showing anymore. We were both Very Upset that we missed it. I looked it up when I got home and found out that it was coming out TODAY and I informed her of this as well. I had to call 2 Different Stores before I found one that had it in stock cause the other ones I called had it already reserved for Someone Else. So to say the least I had them hold it for me so I could get it cause I wasn't going to MISS Getting my Copy. I sat and watched the Whole Movie and LOVED IT. Some people hate it cause of the Singing (it is Sung from Begining to End in True Opera Fassion). Some hate it because of the Comic Book Like Panels that tell each Characters Story before some of the Scenes. In my opinion it is all this that makes it a movie that has to be SEEN to be enjoyed. If you see it in a Theater and Walk Out, or Turn it Off if you are watching it on DVD, then you are missing out. The music is Wonderful and the Story is Great. Blood? Yes there is Quite a Bit of it. If you listen to the Critics, you wouldn't even Think about seeing it. However Take my word for it, if you like Horror, Musicals, Some Gore, and things like that you will Like this movie. You may have to Special Order it in Most Area Stores, but it is SO WORTH IT. Just Rent It, Buy It, Netflix it, Get your Hands on it in anyway you can, and Enjoy it. |
