A lot of people are saying that this movie was over-hyped and that it isn't worth the money, but my question is...what were you expecting? All I wanted to see was these four fabulous women back on my screen for some true-to-life entertainment, and that's what I got. While life may not always play out like a Sex and the City episode, they don't spare you the real day-to-day trials and tribulations that we all face. It was 2 refreshing hours of laughter and tears. Sure there are corny jokes and overly-dramatic scenes, but hello, that kind of stuff is what a lot of us love...especially about Sex and the City! Grab your girlfriend/s, some tissues and head to the theatre, if you're worried about it not being worth the money...go to a matinee. As long as you don't have exorbitant expectations, you won't be disappointed! :o) |
