Ok, guys, I'll just preface this by saying I'm not all that against "chick flicks". I can be suckered into any movie with at least somewhat of a decent plot...but this had to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It was mindlessly dribbling everywhere - over topics that are pretty insane. I don't know how women don't object as their being portrayed as mindless / dementional / easily suckered / and outright weak. All the women in this movie were almost too painful to watch. One is revolting internet geek with no sense to reality...one is an overage "never going to get married" sap with no sense of reality...another is a numb sexless dingbat with no sense of reality...and the main character is completely hopeless, completely pathetic, over the edge with neediness...oh and ZERO sense of reality. I mean, come on, women are smarter than this in real life... YES men play games, but they weren't ever depicted realistically here...they were just basic "jerk" type guys.... My little sister could have put this together better... I'm sure there was some reason to like the book, but there is ZERO reason to like this movie. Each character was a ZERO. Sorry.... |
