This movie broke my heart. It was filled with situation after situation of blatant lies. I've read the book and always laughed how absurdly general these rules are to guys. If he's not sleeping with you then blah blah blah. If he's not calling you then blah blah blah. The only true thing about guys is that every single one of them is completely different and each guy has different reasons for doing things. Every relationship is different too. DONT watch this movie thinking that this is how it is. That guys are uncommital. That marriage sucks, and that women are sometimes desperate. Know that marriage can be wonderful. Sex can be saved til marriage. If a guy doesn't wan't to sleep with you until you are married, it means that he's not a selfish jerk concerned only with fulfilling his sexual desire. It means that he respects you enough and actually does care about you to wait until marriage. Our culture has distorted sex and relationships in a way that is despicable. Wait til marriage. It'll be worth the wait and know that marriage can be awesome |
