This movie leads on that all teenagers do is worry about their boyfriends and have trendy jobs at an upscale club. Very unrealistic. Cute clothes, good looking actors, predictable amicable ending- typical Disney. One of the guiltily enjoyable musical numbers, Bet On It sung (hopefully, this time) by Zac Efron was polluted with choreography that looked like Zac tried way too hard. The other pleasent song, Everyday, was the only decent part of the movie. All in all, the casting could have definitly been better, for the only overweight girl was a very minor role. All the characters were heavily made up and, surprise, attractive. The first one was wonderful with catchy tunes, a believable plot and a non-trampy romance. Hudgens' character dramatically changed for the second, a more conservative and timid character was previously introduced but in the sequel a girl wearing strapless dresses running around with a bunch of guys is shown. |
