I went to this movie having no clue what it was about. Because it was PG, and included Luke Wilson, I expected it to be a comedy with some drama. It is the opposite. I would not recommend this movie for kids under 13 simply because they wouldn't understand or be interested in the plot, and the movie does move at a slower pace. It is also a bit dark and depressing at first, but wait it out, because you will see just how beautiful this movie really is. To me, it has the comedy and endearment of the movie, Dan in Real Life, mixed with the inspiration of the ending of the movie, Signs. Go to it with an open mind, and you will walk out feeling good about life. |
