Howard Deutch directed this average comedy after doing some decent comedies in his past (The Whole Ten Yards for example). They're all good but not great. Dane Cook's following is building, but this movie is not going to make him a star. Kate Hudson is hot and great to look at and the R rating gives the film lots of room for sexy scenes and bad language.
Overall, this is your average romantic comedy, worth the money to see when you want to sit back, relax and watch an entertaining movie that's not too deep, not thought provoking but pleasant on the eyes and leaves you in a good mood. |
