Ok, usually this time of year there is a lot of junk that comes out. If its not oscar-worthy then its probably crap if it comes out in september. Well, i watched this movie just cuz i was curious and i was happily surprised. The movie centers around Dane Cook's character who has an interesting job. If a guy gets in trouble with his woman and she breaks up with him, the guy will hire Dane to meet there girl and go out with her on a date. On the date Dane acts like the biggest ass he could possibly be. By doing this the girl is supposed to realize how good she had it with her ex and then she runs back to him. Dane lives with best friend Jason Biggs whom just got dumped by his kinda-girl played by Kate Hudson. So Jason goes against his gut and hires Dane to do his thing. This is where it gets interesting. This movie was a lot better than i expected. It was pretty funny i will admit, granted the main reason that it is funny is because of the off the wall vulger and mean and "shocking" things Dane says. Some people may not like that but to me, funny is funny. The story was cool too. It doesnt have the cliche ending, it actually turns out how i didn't think it would. Overall go see it because it pretty funny. |
