This movie isn't for everyone. It pushes a few lines and breaks more. The aim of the movie was to expose homophobia. Most of the people giving it a bad review are more than likely homophobic. From the dildo bike to the cage love scene I was laughing. The scene with the reverend at the "ex-gay" part of the movie was to show how full of crap those people were. I was in tears through half of the movie. There are very graphic scenes with full male nudity, but I'm sure if this movie was about a lesbian it would have gotten amazing reviews. Replace the male frontal nudity with women, it'd be a whole list of good reviews. If you want to see Borat again, go rent it. If you want to see the gay Austrian Bruno, GO SEE THIS MOVIE! If you're a homophobe, go elsewhere. |
