Great dancing, not much else.

I actually was not disappointed with this film. But that was because I pretty much knew that this movie would contain a great display of dancing and not much else. There isn't much of a story line and the synopsis is actually very similar to the first. The music is great, and the dance scene in the rain is spectacular, and pretty much the climax of the movie.
The acting is mediocre, Channing Tatum's cameo appearance is one of the sickest dancing displays I have ever seen.
Bottom line, if you enjoyed the first Step Up, you will enjoy this one more, the dancing is better. If you want to see this movie because you think it has an interesting plot you are wasting your time. |
