Huzzah! After making that horrid film with his wife, Guy Ritchie is back where he belongs in the gangster genre he made so popular with 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' and 'Snatch'. All this nonsense begins over the theft of a painting. Tom Wilkinson plays the leader of an old school gangster group in London and when he offers to help finanace a football stadium a Russian mobster builds, this is where the fun begins. He offers Wilkinson his lucky painting that keep falling from his hands into others including a drugged out rocker, hence the title. Money keeps getting stolen seven million Euros led by the thieves of a younger school of gangsters led by Gerard Butler. Oh, by the way just like the suitcase in Pulp Fiction, we never see the beautiful painting everone gloats over. Maybe there'll be a sequel as the end is open for. |
