Went to watch the movie...it was confusing at first..but it turned out to be much clearer in the end. Warning though: If you peeps are expecting some bloody violence, well this movie doesn't contain much. There's more of a black comedy than the gunfights, bloods, violence etc. And damn why can't they add GRAPHIC sex scenes to solidfy the theme of the movie? But overall it was quite cool and funny, I was laughing hysterically at some parts, especially the gay jokes.
My favourite quote from the movie:
"People ask the question: Whats a RocknRolla? And I tell you, it's not about drums, drugs an all those dreams. Oh no, there's more than that my friend. We'd all like to have the good life. Some for money, some for drugs, others for sex game, the glamour, for the fame. But a real RocknRolla's always different, why? Because a real RocknRolla wants the *****in lot. "
I heard they're making the 2nd part, depending on the success of this movie. Well I would definitely try a shot for the 2nd one. |
