An entertainer

Heyy Babyy is the most awaited flick of 2007 for Hindi cinema. Does it live upto its hype?
We are not expecting path-breaking stories in Heyy Babyy...what we are expecting are:
1. A cohesive story
2. Excellent performances
3. Rib tickling humor
4. Emotional sequences that make you moist-eyed
Heyy Babyy does follow the conventional route of Indian masala movies but somewhere you feel it is different. No, its not an exact copy of Three and a Half Men and you can guarantee that by the end of the first half when the mother comes.
Some sequences that were very memorable:
1. THE TITLE SONG ELEVATES THE FILM TO HIGH HEIGHTS (16 hot-n-happening actresses in one song)
2. The scene where Akshay goes for baby shopping
3. The poop scene
4. The sequences in the hospital after they dump the baby, probably the best in the movie.
5. When you see Boman Irani
6. Vidya Balans entry right before the interval
7. Fardeen playing Parimal Tripathi (the sequences in the car and in the restaurant when Riteish and Akshay Kumar are Arabs)
8. The climax.
Things that work:
1. Memorable performances by the whole cast
2. One-liners
3. Perfect blend of emotion and comedy
4. The music
5. 16 actresses and SRK
6. The adorable baby
The only thing that didnt work:
1. The flashback was not required at all. It seemed as if the story was going at a different direction.
