Serious Drama from France That Drags

Foreign films are considered more sophisticated than American films so it's hard to admit when they are a bit -ahem- boring. This film has a good story and good acting, but there are parts that you wonder why they are there. What's the point of the scene or shot? It doesn't always keep one's attention. With a more sharply written screenplay, this movie would have been much better. But it's still not bad. |
