i read the book, really liked it; i also read fight club, and when i saw the movie, the movie was like ninty-eight percent like the book. my only complaint about this, is that the movie, choke, is more like only sixty-eight percent like the book.
from a three hundred page book, im sure they could have put a little more into the movie; an hour and a half isnt long enough.
still sam rockwell was very funny, the movie was good, good directing, good co-actors; i would have choosen someone else for the mother, especially when she was playing herself, when she was younger; maybe some more make up and CGI would have helped convince me, that she was thirty years younger. |
