The Rocker is the "Funniest Movie" in theaters!!! *(If you don't count Tropic Thunder, Pinnapple Express and Step Brothers)
Yep, see Dwight Schrute...uh, er.. I mean Rainn Wilsons character in The Rocker, which is TOTALLY different,(sarcasm) get kicked out of a '80s Rock Band on the verge of superstardom, only to become a washed-up loser living in his adult sisters attic, who then has an opportunity to fill in as drummer for his fat, nerdy-nephews band, A.D.D.
They play the prom, get an agent...blah,blah, blah... the nephew wants the girl in the band to like him... blah, blah, blah.
NOt a terrible movie, but also not terribly original, a few modest laughs and, as I said, it's about the 4th funniest movie out... so maybe if you're a BIG fan of Rainn's, otherwise, wait for DVD or cable. |
