You, too, can get even. First, let me say that everyone has said what needs to be said already. This is the suckiest 'horror' film of the decade, and that's saying a lot. Not even fun campy B horror. Just stupid.
The worst part is that the distribution company no doubt knew this. Hear them cackling now: "Heh heh. Huh huh. Snort! They'll all pile on the $$ just b/c it's Halloween and Saw is the only other lame horror flick out right now...and we have the rating that will bring the stupid kids in in droves! Molly will haunt them forever when they think of hours of their lives they've wasted! And because of the rating, droves of stupid kids will get their parents to rent this flick even if other kids say it's stupid b/c horror is COOL!"
Anyway, bottom line, people. Don't let them keep your hard-earned money. You CAN get your money back. If you're at a major theater like a Regal or AMC and you truly feel jipped and angry, go ask for the manager and they will refund you. Serious. I know plenty of people who have done this successfully (don't abuse it or they quit being accommodating), so it's not just one nice theater who does it. |
