A very poor presentation of a supposedly "scary" movie. The movie takes too long to setup, so for most of the movie, it's nothing but boredom and meaningless plot and setup. The only scares in the movie are cheap scares presented with loud sound effects and creepy music leading up to overly predictable scares you can sense just from the music. The movie has a terrible plot that the more you watch and find out, the more dreadful it gets, so bad that you just want to walk out of the theatre and demand your money back, but you can't because you want to see how much worst it can get. The worst part is the ending resolves absolutely nothing and tries to end with a cheap meaningless twist that leaves you angry because you could've gone to a better movie. Not to mention the scene at the beginning which seems to be connected with the main storyline, but after watching the whole movie, you'll wonder why they wasted your time with that scene that added nothing to the plot???!!! |
