All of us, during our life time have some kind of relation with one (or more) of the above topics...
Yonkers Joe is all about the love between a father, his kid, his lady friend (acting step Mom) and their struggle for life. It also has to do with addictions, dealing with special kids, parent/children realtionships. Discovering the intricacies of casinos 9not a new topic, but well detailed) was for me so interesting. The story was moving, and even big men get to sob once in a good picture!
The chareacters are simple, and real.
I had a great time, and will not disclose anything about the ending.... Have fun! |
