This is a movie about the dark side of life, gamblers, hustlers and their jaded view of reality. It succeeds in bringing that to life. It also is a good backdrop for the humanity of people to to come through despite their cynicism and dark judgements. It delivers hope in a really unique way. It is a very moving film. Chazz Palminteri is right in his element. |
