This "walks on the ocean" clown claims to teach Film Production at UCLA and doesn't have the intelligence to see the quality of Wall*e? Either he is a liar or he is accepting paychecks that constitute fraud.
This film shows care, creativity, and true genious in the world of animated film making. I was enthralled from the opening cartoon (hilarious) to the end of the credits.
Wall*e is a wonderful creation who wears his innocent heart on his sleeve and triumphs over adversity like any true film hero. The noises he makes are more eloquent then most live actors, and he will become an iconic figure in animation history.
The film makers were careful not to insult the intelligence of the viewers by rushing the story, but allowed it to grow in intensity and importance until we were swept into a story of love and redemption. They took a small beautiful story and morphed it into a big intense one that speaks to us all as humans and as "keepers of the earth". I came away truly moved by this film.
Of course, it goes without saying the visuals were stunning, the music was perfect and understated. I am pleased to report this was a practically flawless film.
I'm going back and taking friends. This was a truly great film. Well done, PIXAR, and thanks. |
