No spoilers so read away.
First I'll say the short film before it "Presto" had me falling out of my seat. Hilarious
After seeing Pixar movie after Pixar movie I wondered if they would drop the ball on Wall-E (Cars was probably the closest). After getting back from the sold-out midnight showing (can you believe it? A midnight show for a rated G movie), I must say that this might be the best Pixar movie yet.
The story was amazing. Very sci-fi like and full of surprises. I was quite intrigued the entire movie with the story because I really had no clue where it was going.
The characters were quite simply amazing. I had to do a couple of double takes because I forgot I was watching animated robots. I don't want to know how tedious this movie was to make because they hit every detail about human emotions and reactions.
Visually the movie was astonishing, I can't wait to get this on blu-ray. One of the most detailed movies I've ever seen.
By far my favorite Pixar movie and I'll probably put it in my top movie list.
A+ and a must see and heck see it twice (I'm planning on it again this weekend) |
