I knew the reviews were wrong, that I would hate out-of-tune seniors screwing up great songs. Was I wrong!! I was crying like a baby through the last half despite my judgmental and cynical hard-ass self. There are many ways to watch this; 1)Enjoying a collection of really classic punk/rock/soul songs, 2)Watching the cycle of life, as seniors poignantly display still young minds as their bodies give out (I'm going to start crying again), or, 3) as a tale of incredible philanthropy, where people use their talents to help people utilize what may otherwise be have been cast aside lives and years. Any of the above will do. Without fail if you are over 30, you are in for an incredible cinematic event filled with emotion, heartbreak and beauty. |
