I absolutely loved American Beauty so I thought I'd give this film a shot. O man do I regret it. It was bland and depressing from the start to the finish. People arguing, hating, cheating, having sex with their clothes on, way too many still closeup shots that go nowhere. Even Kate and Leo who I consider very good actors, very disappointing. I felt they were "acting" in nearly every scene. Sam, I'm very let down by this film. Boring. What a waste of a few million bucks. Now I will need a few days to clear all the yelling, hating and claustrophobia out of my head. Take your money elsewhere people. |
