One of the best movies ever

Seriously, this movie is phenomenal. Not only is it incredibly important, because there are so few movies with lead characters who are trans or intersexed (has there ever been a movie with the latter?) but because it is so eloquently, beautifully, and thoughtfully done. Seriously. The actors do an amazing job, all the characters are portrayed with sympathy, as they wrestles with some difficult choices. The cinematography is beautiful and subtle. It is quite possibly the most important movie I have ever seen, and definitely one of the best. |
