Why Rotten Tomatoes gives this a 90% rating is beyond me. A friend of mine and I were flummoxed by the inanity, absurdity, and lack of direction in this film. Where's the beef? Two sophomoric Italian brothers fight from day 1 over any and everything, and they continue to do this up until one of the brother's meets his deserved fate as a thug and villain. For the life of me I can't see what this movie is driving at.
The actors, alas, are all very good. But there is no there there. Don't waste your time or money. |
