Not as good as ENCHANTED; but for the same kind of junk that won the Oscar, it's not bad; and Frances McDormand gives another note-worthy performance; but the big question is: you think Amy Adams could get a nomination for THIS Oscar-worthy performance? She's still ENCHANTing (couldn't resist that); and this time, her character and the brilliance she brings to it has a bit more depth.
Or maybe not. If the Academy actually nominated a performance even this good from this early in the year, I'd probably die of shock. |
