Finally...a comedy that doesn't involve a queer love story or cheesy acting. I have to say that this is probably the best comedy I've seen in a long while. You will probably hear a lot of smut gossip about Katie Holmes acting like the spacecase that she is, but people need to understand that her role is a key role in this film. And I usually don't enjoy Katie Holmes performances but she is good in this one. Great performances also by Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah. This movie is full of unsuspected twists and turns. You will not be disappointed! The critics are just being snottish because it is not a traditional comedy involving a cheesy love affair. |
