OK, so I'm a guy, and an old one at that. But I've been known to be touched by a good love story, but this was not one of those. It makes a mockery of what true love is about, especially love between mature adults who have experienced long-term relationships and personal tragedy.
So the guy is a jerk of a surgeon who is all wrapped up in himself after a patient died, and the woman's husband cheated on her but wants to come back. So after confronting the husband of the dead patient, and after a thunder storm, they are now ready to spend their lives in eternal love? These two people are too dense to see that their neediness is not a good basis for love forever? After two days yet? Give me a break.
And what a cheap shot ending! If you want to touch MY heart with a story, you'd better earn it. |
