This movie has a classic feel to it, like it could have even been popular in the 40's. Katherine Heigl plays a woman who loves weddings so much that she attends them quite frequently, and, in fact, has 27 bridesmaid dresses crammed into her New York Apartment. She is also in love with her boss, who, in turn, falls in love with her flighty younger sister. And, of course, there is the handsome yet annoying guy who likes her but she doesn't like him (James Marsden, also great!)...What I like about this film is the intelligent writing, which doesn't insult its audience. It's right up there with "My Best Friend's Wedding" and "The Wedding Planner" as far as Wedding films go... |
